Biography
Mary Ann Collett, MSW, MA, CLEM
Mary Ann is an inspiring and dynamic Catholic Lay Evangelist. She has been in the Healing Ministry for over 39 years. She is the co-founder of the thriving ministry Catholic Women of Zion celebrating their 32nd year in 2021. She has traveled nationally and internationally to spread the message of the Kingdom of God through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Mary Ann has served the Diocese of Trenton as a Pastoral Associate for 16 years. She is a certified Spiritual Director and Chaplain (CPE). She also was an Adjunct Professor for The College of St. Elizabeth, a member of the Advisory Board for Pastoral Care, RCIA Advisory Working Group and a Presenter for Bereavement and the co-ordinator for the Pastoral Care Training Program for the Diocese of Trenton, NJ.
Mary Ann holds a MSW in Clinical Social Work from Fordham University and a MA in Theology from Georgian Court University and has studied in Rome, Italy. She was commissioned by the Bishop as a Lay Ecclesial Minister for the Diocese of Trenton in 2004.
Mary Ann has traveled extensively; she has led and spoken at national and international retreats, pilgrimages, seminars, parish retreats, and conferences. She had a Catholic radio program “The Living Witness” which aired weekly throughout Central NJ for two and a half years. She is the proud mother of 3 married daughters and 8 grandchildren.
Mary Ann has experienced 15 years of care-giving and widowhood. Even enduring many personal losses, going through all of those experiences, she has been blessed with God's Love, His Grace and the Gift of Faith. She has continued to respond to God's Call to go across the nations to Preach, Teach and Heal in His name.
